We undertook a comprehensive redesign of CashRummy, a real money gaming rummy app. Working closely with the technical team, founder, and a diverse group of testers, we revamped every aspect of the app, from gameplay mechanics to user flows, resulting in an enhanced and engaging experience for players.
Our Design Process
Our design process is a methodical journey that ensures every project we undertake is grounded in thorough research, creative ideation, and precise execution.
🔍 1. Research, Market & Competition
We started by diving deep into the world of rummy apps, analyzing existing platforms to understand the landscape. This involves identifying key user pain points, studying market trends, and delving into the regulatory environment. Our evaluation also includes a comprehensive analysis of competitor strengths and weaknesses, allowing us to carve out a unique and competitive niche for our product.

With a solid understanding of the market, we move into the creative phase. Our team conducts productive workshops that spark a wealth of ideas and innovative concepts. During this stage, we sketch out numerous initial concepts, explore groundbreaking gameplay mechanics, and consider various monetization strategies. This is where creativity meets practicality, ensuring that each idea has the potential to evolve into a viable solution.

The ideas generated in the brainstorming phase are rigorously vetted against the project’s goals. We meticulously assess the technical feasibility of each concept in collaboration with our development team. Prioritization of features is done based on their potential impact and the effort required to implement them. This process culminates in the creation of a comprehensive feature roadmap that guides the project forward.

We prepare comprehensive design documentation and style guides to ensure that the development team has all the necessary resources to implement the design seamlessly. Our commitment doesn’t end with the handover; we provide ongoing support during the implementation phase, ensuring that the product is executed to the highest standards.
Working closely with developers, we focused on performance improvements. Load times were significantly reduced, and overall app responsiveness was enhanced, creating a smoother experience across various devices.
